So on Tuesday I had my first signing of the YEAR! And it was IN ST. LOUIS!!! I didn't have to drive hours out of town! It was quite exciting! LOL!
Better yet, it was for Sophie Jordan AND Victoria Aveyard! TWO of my favorite authors! Multi-author events are always my favorite, because MORE authors!!
It was quite fun too! Sophie and Victoria had great stories to tell and I enjoyed listening to them! It was funny too, because at one point when discussing their books, Victoria started to mention something regarding how in most Disney movies you never see the parents. She implored us to think of one Disney movie where the heroine had her parents.
Of course, at the time, it wasn't really posed as a question for us in the audience, but naturally my brain started running! And when I got to the signing table, I had to give her unasked for answers! LOL! Naturally, those princesses were Aurora, Rapunzel, and Merida! ;)
Now since I held a preorder contest for this one earlier, I decided to go with the other book that wasn't chosen! Smart huh?! LOL! And that my friends is a SIGNED copy of Glass Sword!!
So one lucky US resident (sorry, but do look to my Blogoversary giveaway, if you haven't already because that's international!) will win this highly anticipated book! Although, from what I am hearing there's a huge cliffhanger, so by waiting until the end of this contest, you have shortened your wait for book 3 by just a little bit more! Think about that! ;)
Here's the rafflecopter, you know what to do!

I haven't read these boos yet, but everyone has given exciting reviews of them so I want to read them too and not be left out! The covers are gorgeous! BTW, Tangled (Disney) I immediately thought about when you mentioned no parents. this is one of my fav Dsisney films.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read either book but look forward to reading both. The series looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteWow it sounds like this event was loads of fun!! Aveyard and Jordan came to this area, but sadly I couldn't make the event. Nice recap!
