MY ANSWER: I feel like I am always ready for Halloween and don't really need a book to get me in the mood. Plus, there's the fact that I'm not a re-reader anymore so there wouldn't be a book to return to.
I'd say just about any thriller or horror-like book that's in my TBR pile would get me even MORE ready for Halloween! Or perhaps if the book took place at Halloween that would be cool! As it is, this year I likely won't be able to read Hocus Pocus as I intended, so hopefully I can do that next year! Remind me of that...lol!
