Stacking the Shelves--Super Mega Two Week Haul Extravaganza!!

This weekly meme is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!

It's my super mega two week haul extravaganza! These past two weeks have been SUPER crazy! I attended the first ever NOLA StoryCon and had a blast! Then this past Friday FIERCE READS came to ST. LOUIS!! It was unreal! And it was SUPER crowded!! Weirder yet, Charlaine Harris was also in St. Louis on the SAME NIGHT!! How freaking weird is that?! I mean if St. Louis gets an author appearance (from one of "my" authors) I usually go crazy over it! But to have 2! On the same day and time?! INSANITY!! Naturally I chose Fierce Reads because it had more authors and I've met Charlaine a handful of times already! LOL!

So here's what I bought in those two weeks of craziness:

The Purloined Poodle by Kevin Hearne--SIGNED
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo--SIGNED
Last Seen Leaving by Caleb Roehrig--SIGNED
Outtakes from the Grave by Jeaniene Frost--SIGNED
Day Zero by Kresley Cole--SIGNED & Keeper Copy
Menagerie by Rachel Vincent--SIGNED & newly designed paperback
Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige--SIGNED & Keeper Copy
The Shadow Hour by Melissa Grey--UK copy
The King Slayer by Virginia Boecker--UK copy
This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab--UK copy
The Women in the Walls by Amy Lukavics
Otherworld Chills by Kelley Armstrong
Nemesis by Anna Banks
The Fever Code by James Dashner
A Promise of Fire by Amanda Bouchet

Then a contest win from Goodreads was:

Awakened by Fire by Erin Kellison

THANK YOU Erin!

Then the book I was approved for on Netgalley and literally held me in shock for a good five minutes or so! I thought I read wrong when it said I was APPROVED!!

Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones (ARC)

THANK YOU Thomas Dunne & Netgalley!!!

Sooo cannot wait to read this one!!!

Then I also got this one from the author to read!! Which I was soooo excited to get early!

 Missing by Kelley Armstrong (ARC)

THANK YOU Kelley!

Some of the awesome swag I got from NOLA StoryCon:

Some preorder swag and incentives I received were:

From Jessica Cluess: a signed bookmark
a signed book plate
a sampler
a button!

THANK YOU Jessica!

The Crooked Kingdom preorder incentives:
a dice game!
the signed bookplate ended up with the large swag photo!

Then I also bought/received these:

I received a makeup bag and chapstick for C.C. Hunter's Midnight Hour

THANK YOU St. Martin's Press!

Then at the Fierce Reads signing I got my Six of Crows card! I seriously didn't know who I wanted to get, so the happy surprise was Jesper!! Because literally I kept going through the characters in my head saying who I'd want! Really...I just need them all! :D

Then at the Fierce Reads signing they had the Cinder Litograph and I impulsively bought it! Then had Marissa sign it too!

A few other goodies I bought for myself these past two weeks that I feel I must share--because I share books, book related things, and of course Disney, so you can pretty much guess what's next!

The Beast Funko Pop! Planning to buy that new Belle one because I currently only have the Hipster one and "Peasant" Belle.

This amazing ornament of the Rose from Beauty and the Beast from the Disney Store...and it LIGHTS UP!!

Then I also bought this one--there was a sale, buy 2 or more and get them for $12 each instead of $16.95, so WIN--it's Belle reading her book on the fountain...with that vicious sheep!

I mean look...

If you kind of zoom in on the corner that's furthest from the sheep (by my thumb) you see there's a corner missing!! GASP!!!

And that was my super awesome past two weeks!! I am sooooo overwhelmed with all these new books, plus all my old ones! I am going spastic with what to read next! Non-readers don't understand how stressful it is to be an avid reader! LOL! What did you all get?

  2. Wow, that is an awesome haul! I wish I lived close to where authors seem to roam but I don't and I am not one to do a lot of traveling for it as I can't afford it...sighs. I bet Storycon was awesome!

I want that beast funko!!! I must see if I can find one. :)

    Have a great week!

  11. Wow, sounds like you had such a fab week! I met Caleb Roehrig at BEA, but I wish Fierce Reads was coming near me so I could meet him again and see the other authors. Sigh. Ah well, maybe in the future! Love all your Beauty and the Beast items.

  17. I'm so jealous of all your pretty UK copies!!! Especially Shadow Hour, I just LOVE that one. And I'm jealous of the Crooked Kingdom dice...I didn't even hear about that promotion. It shouldn't matter, because I didn't even like SoC, but all the stuff for that series is just SO pretty and I want it anyway haha!
