Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly blog post by Jill over at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights releases we're eagerly awaiting.
The year is dwindling down, and slowly so are my new releases. Of course I will still be buying books, some that are older titles and are already out.
But next up in new releases that I cannot wait for is...
NIGHTSHADE by Andrea Cremer!! Isn't the cover just amazing? Love the purple and I use to hate this color, mostly because it was my high school color, but now I am really warming up to it!!!
Of course I likely already did a WoW post, but I'm doing it again, because as you know already several times now, I cannot WAIT to read this book!!!!
While other teenage girls daydream about boys, Calla Tor imagines ripping out her enemies’ throats. And she wouldn’t have it any other way. Calla was born a warrior and on her eighteenth-birthday she’ll become the alpha female of the next generation of Guardian wolves. But Calla’s predestined path veers off course the moment she saves the life of a wayward hiker, a boy her own age. This human boy’s secret will turn the young pack's world upside down and forever alter the outcome of the centuries-old Witches' War that surrounds them all.
TITLE: Nightshade
AUTHOR: Andrea Cremer
GENRE: Young Adult Paranormal
RELEASE DATE: October 19, 2010
*According to Amazon the book is 528 pages long! And based on the reviews, it's not long enough!! :) Hearing lots of good things and people are already dying to read the next installment which means this 500+ book will be a fast read and too short!
**This isn't meant to insult Andrea of course! Just saying that I want the book to last because I am sooooo excited and entering probably 12 contests now with 0 luck and I want to read the book soooo bad and then of course I want to read the next one because in the reviews, the reviewer admit wanting to read Wolfsbane already!
According to Goodreads it's 464 pages. Still, it's long and yeah, it sounds like it's not going to be long enough. Can't wait for Nightshade either!!
