This week's question is: In light of 11.11.11 and Veteran’s Day tell us about your favorite soldier and how he or she is saving the world. Fictional or real life.
MY ANSWER: Oh man, that's tough. I don't know any real life soldiers. I don't think I know any fictional ones either. None of the books I've read had characters be soldiers that I can think of. I'm not sure if we can count Ash from The Iron Fey series or not. He was sort of a soldier.
That's the most original answer i've seen to the FF question.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me earlier as well.
Ha! I had to think long and hard about this one, since I dont' know any real soldiers. Funny thing is, there's an entire subgenre of military-related books, both thrillers and romances, but I haven't read any of them either!
ReplyDeleteI plan on starting this series next year, I'm very excited! Thanks for stopping by my FF
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to read this series. Just bought the book so its on its way!

I haven't yet read this series, but I really want to! I almost answered with the men and women who did battle in The Lord of the Rings series, but went with something else instead. lol!

Ash is a great choice! I'm not sure either if he counts as a soldier but I definitely love him :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday! My FF post

I haven't read Iron Fey, but I know Ash is great so I'm going to say he counts :) Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of the Iron Fey series yet so I can't say whether or not he's a soldier, but I had trouble coming up with an answer today too!

Ha! Second one that gives that answer to the soldier question. AND I still haven't gotten to reading that series (I suck, I know).
ReplyDeleteBut, totally unrelated, because trivia is sexy when commenting, lol, why don't you have a blog button that I can grab and show off on my Blog-o-Sphere? I want a blog button from you, lol. I can make you one if you'd like? Just give me the word and I'll whip it up for you, I've got my Photoshop running right now xD
