"Unfortunately she had to admit to herself that the tavern afforded a level of anonymity they would not receive at headquarters. Too many regulators took it upon themselves to make a study of Talent and Mary. She feared there might even be a betting pool going on about just when and how they'd kill each other." p 226*

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list  that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

This week's topic is: Top Ten 2014 Debuts I'm Excited For

*in no particular order

**Apparently being deprived of good Paranormal YA books in my teen years has led to me being spoiled with them in my 20s and an overabundant need to own many of them!

***I have lots of books with no covers in this one, plus one that doesn't have a title yet!

1. Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout--you bet it's #1!
2. Up from the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
3. Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater

4. Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige
5. The Forever Song by Julie Kagawa
6. Call of the Forgotten Book #3 by Julie Kagawa

7. Sixth Grave on the Edge by Darynda Jones
8. Burned by Karen Marie Moning
9. White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout

10. Stone Cold Touch by Jennifer L. Armentrout*

*Because I KNOW I will love White Hot Kiss...even though I am waiting FOREVER to read it!

And a possible 11th choice, and another (New) Adult title that may or may not be releasing next year as I am not positive Goodreads has accurate info yet:

11. Undone by J. Lynn (Nephilim Rising #2)

Your list of debuts is good, too. I hope you'll get to read, and love all of these books!

    Thanks for stopping by earlier.

  2. Nice top 10. They are looking great.
Especially Sixth grave on the edge. But I thought the top 10 should be about debuts. So that's why this one isn't in my top 10. :D

Man, JLA has a lot releasing...which is wonderful! I hate to see Frost's series come to an end but I'm excited for the book. And I.CAN'T.WAIT to read Burned. :)

    Happy Tuesday!

  8. Ohhh I am so excited for White Hot Kiss and Opposition! And Sinner! That is going to be great! I have bad news about Undone... when I was at a signing with JLA she mentioned that the rest of that series is on hold indefinitely =[ that makes me sad because I adored Unchained!

    Great picks!
