Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!
Try as I may, I can't seem to go a week without getting some books! Luckily this week I didn't add too many! Even read one and have half of another finished as of this post!
For review from the publishers I received:
Night's Deep Hush by Erin Kellison--already read, reviewed and loved!
Black Dog by Caitlin Kittredge (ARC)
Thank you Fire Flower Publishing, Harper Voyager, Netgalley, & Edelweiss!
Then I won Beck from Book Bite Reviews, BEA haul contest and I chose:
Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick (ARC)
Thank you Becky!
Then I decided to be weird and bought this in paperback format, I had the original Kindle version and the current paperback but for whatever reason, I wanted a paperback of its original cover.
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
You can never have too many copies of Daemon!
And then...I snagged the first dragon I saw on Julie Kagawa's Kagawa Crafts:
An adorable black and pin dragon with a copy of The Iron Queen!
And then because I preordered Servants of the Storm, I got a signed bookplate and bookmarks plus tattoos from Delilah S. Dawson! There was a four leaf clover, but sadly due to my bad luck or mail travel, it was a three leaf by the time I opened the letter.
And that was my haul!
I really want to read Black Ice. It just looks so good.
ReplyDeleteNice haul! =)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the Black Ice win! I have that one for review, but I have not read it yet. And you're totally right about Daemon - I mean, Obsidian ;) I love the little dragon!

Too bad about the four leaf clover - I wonder what that says about your luck? :/ LOL! It's kind of funny that you happened to grab ANOTHER copy of Obsidian the same week I grabbed a copy from the library and started reading it for the first time! Must have been something in the air ;) Have a great week Jessica!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my post earlier, the mandarin versions of HP comes in a size just slightly smaller than A4, which is why the books are a lot slimmer. :D
