This week's question is: If you could have 3 wishes granted, what would they be? – Life is Reading
1. I wish to be the sole winner of the lottery when it's at it highest! Which the money will then go to paying off my car, student loans, giving some to my mom and sister for the same things. And then basically spending the money however I want! I'll take vacations, buy books, build my own library rooms with built in bookshelves, buy books...
2. To become a published author! But I guess I would want it to be less the magical sort and have it go by getting an agent who then finds the right publisher for my book. So 1 wish, yet with a two step process! Because it's all about the details!
3. And I guess at this point, a "true" sort of wish would be to get the job of my dreams! The perfect job! And while I want my career to be that of a writer, I know I need to have a day job to get me through points of life. My ultimate perfect job would be to be a proofreader at a publishing house! Reading the books I want to read (and others, because it's a job! lol) first and checking for spelling mistakes, grammar, formatting, yadda yadda yada! Though I think I probably need to move to NYC for that!
all good wishes. I really have no idea what I would want. I think the top things would be all my bills paid off. I would love to stay home and help raise my grandson
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all your wishes! If you don't give up and keep on writing, I'm sure you'll become a published author one day.
ReplyDeleteMy FF post.
My wishes are pretty much the same as yours :).
ReplyDeleteSilvy @Books are my life
Love your wishes :) And I agree with Majanka, keep writing and don't give up and you'll get published one day!
ReplyDeleteIt would be such a relief to have everything payed off because we don't need that type of stress in our lives! I totally agree with you :D
ReplyDeleteGreat wishes! I think maybe we're all in debt, lol! Those pesky student loans are the worst. I would love to have a job proofreading books for a publisher too! I agree with everyone else on writing and getting published. Keep at it and one day you'll get there! Thanks for visiting Bookworm Book Reviews! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThere goes my first wish of wishing for a million wishes then!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I've tagged you in the I Mustache You A Question feature. Happy F&F Friday (old follower)!
Awesome list! I definitely want to become a writer myself! Such a fantastic job!
ReplyDeleteHere's my FF!
Old Follower :D
You probably would have to move to NYC, but you can always wish to be a very successful writer so that you don't have to get a day job. :) It would be cool to also see your books on the big screen as well. I would totally wish for that, anyway thanks for stopping by my blog today. :)

You were much more practical with your wishes than I was! Except I did also wish for money...lots of money to pay off all those things, house, renovate my parents house and land...the usual.
ReplyDeleteGreat wishes! I need the money for college loans as well, not looking forward to all of them. Old follower!
ReplyDeleteYour first wish would be such a relief! And I hope your job/career pans out the way you'd like.
