We have reached the final chapter in Shane Carley's True Facts That Sound Like Bull$#*t! It's been a wild ride these last few years. I'd have to go over my archives and check, but it's been a good while diving into this book. I'm going to have to decide what to share in the future for these posts as I've kind of run of wild facts and books with wild facts. I might have to mix up what goes on here on Thursdays.

Did you know that once when "horse diving" was a thing--the book didn't give me a year or date--spectators flocked to Steel Pier in Atlantic City, NJ to watch. The weight of the people on the pier caused the tiniest change with the pier where it lowered ever so slightly. Scientists noticed a change in sea level readings from that time. It resulted in 50 years of sea level data needing to be tossed out because of the diving horses event.

Yeah, I didn't want to find an actual kidney picture, so here are kidney beans for your viewing pleasure! ;)
