This week's question: Do you read more than 1 book at a time, and if so, how, like a certain amount of pages per book before moving on to the next one in the queue? - Suggested by Words I Write Crazy.

MY ANSWER: Oh no. No, no, no! I can't do that anymore! I did when I was a kid and I probably had no idea what was what in each story! I don't even know how I managed it in school. Especially taking 3-4 English classes at a time!

I'm a 1 book at a time girl now and I'm completely happy with it!

  1. I wish I read one book at a time. I do about 3-4 sometimes more but 3-4 i am comfortable with. I get so book ADD. There are way to many to read. I don't tend to get them mixed up but I think sometimes it makes it more difficult to connect to the characters when I go back and forth. Sometimes I can't find a my current book where I am at the moment... so I just pick up a new one. Its a really bad habit. I need to stop.

  3. Hahaha it would probably be best for me to stick with one as well, but I find my mood shifting quite easily and then there's university which means my reading is all over the place anyway. Currently I'm trying to wrap my head around both Old Norse sagas and Romantic poetry...very confusing! Thanks for stopping by :) I hope you have an amazing weekend!

  4. I felt the exact same was until I became a blogger. Plus it is so easy to pick out something to read when I'm out of the house with my phone. My purse doesn't fit my paperbacks or a kobo so I don't take a book with me when I go out. Starting something new on my phone happens all the time.

  5. I've always read multiple books. I remember having to do a reading journal as a kid and my teacher thinking that there was no way I could remember what was happening in the two or three books I was reading but I always could. I still read multiple books. I get bored if I only read one book. It's probably why I almost never read a book in a day. I can't just read a book in one-sitting!

    Happy FF! Old follower.

  6. Sometimes when I really love a book it's all I'll think about all day until I can read it again. But those are also the books I finish in like two days. haha. So I guess sometimes I'm a one-book girl, but I can't help reading multiples at a time. Maybe my brain is just too crazy to sit still :)

  7. I only read one book too! I can get easily distracted with more than one. Thank you for stopping by. :)

  8. I tried reading more than one book at a time, but it's a fail!

  9. Haha, I used to be that same way, but then I sort of started mixing my genre's and found that it was a little bit easier to read more than one book that way. Plus, the added little addition of switching off a day here or there between the two of them and all that good stuff, didn't interfere with my ability to stay focused on the story I was reading. Although, there are some books that require my full attention and I just make sure that i power through them.

Happy Reading and Hopping Through!!! <3
    Have a fantastic weekend! :)

  10. Hahaha! The only way I can do it is by listening to an audiobook in a totally different genre. It's definitely not for everyone though!

    Here's my F&F!

  11. I carry my mp3 player at work and listen to audio books all day, but at home I have hard copies and my tablet. So I always have at least 2 books going.

  12. Yay, one book girl over here, too! (: Yay, that makes me feel better because a lot of bloggers told me they were able to read 3 books at a time. That is so amazing to me!

  13. I do occasionally read more than one book at a time, but when I do, it's typically a bad sign, LOL (b/c none of the multiple books is good enough to hold my attention by itself). I don't have rules, I just read one until I need a break, and then switch to another one, rinse and repeat.

  14. I'll probably go down to one (or maybe 2) when all my read-alongs end. See if that works better for me. :D Thanks for stopping by my blog, Jessica! :D

  15. I know, right? Reading too many books a once just gets me all confused when it comes time to review.
