Okay, so don't hate me since my first post is regarding Frozen! I love all Disney movies and for whatever reason, months ago, I wrote down Frozen first! So here are some random tidbits about the movie:
- Anna is the first Disney princess to have A DUET with a villain--so I guess there's a group song involving a princess, villain, and someone else that I cannot think of... .... ...seriously bugging me that I can't think of one!
- Elsa was supposed to be the villain, but then produces loved "Let it Go" so much as an empowering anthem that they changed her storyline.
- Hans is the youngest Disney villain at age 23.--not that we ever got ages on anyone else...also I feel like Hans is the first duplicitous character as we were led to believe Anna was about to find herself in a love triangle and then BAM! He's a villain!!! I mean other times I felt like Disney let you KNOW who the villain is, even if he was ACTING friendly to our heroines/heroes.
- Apparently, fans have been debating since the movie came out: if Olaf had melted for Anna, would that act of true love have saved her?--I almost feel like the answer should be no. It seems more fitting that Anna must have acted in the act of true love, not having it acted at her. But that's just me! ;)
And that's all I had on Frozen!
I agree with your argument on Olaf not melting for Anna. I love that Elsa is not the villain.
ReplyDeleteI can't think of the trio song either. its going to drive me nuts.
ReplyDeleteI really love the fact that the prince charming is the bad guy and that the movie is about family love. no man is needed even though i do love Chrstoff.
another intersting fact... if you put Hans Christoff, Anna, and Sven together. say them quickly... it sounds like hans christian anderson.. sort of.
There's a song in Pocahontas that involves the villains and her singing as well. Maybe that's the one you were thinking about?
ReplyDeleteLove these facts about Frozen! Had no idea that Elsa was originally supposed to be the villain!
