In My Mailbox is a weekly blog post hosted by Kirsti over at The Story Siren and inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie.
Another somewhat decent week! Got a few books which is always good! And some were FREE!!
From NetGalley for review I got:
The Vampire Narcise by Colleen Gleason
(saw it on NetGalley this week and thought, why not?!)
Then some of my FREE Amazon reads were:
Retro Demonology by Jana Oliver
(a prequel to The Demon Trapper's Daughter)
My Review
My Review
Turned at Dark by C.C. Hunter
(a short story involving another character from her soon-to-debut Born at Midnight)
Then in the mail came:
Rogue Oracle by Alayna Williams
I think I´ll read ´turned at dark` and `retro demonology`^^
ReplyDeleteThey might be interesting.

Wow, you got a lot of great books! I'm really looking forward to reading The Demon Trapper's Daughter. I hope you like Retro Demonology! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou always have the coolest vampire books... Seriously!
ReplyDeleteHave a great rest of the weekend Jess!
;)
It is your fault that I have spent the last hour at NetGalley. I didn't know that The Vampire Narcise was available. I have read The Vampire Voss already and really liked it. I have The Vampire Dimitri on my Kindle too. Also, I have The Demon Trapper's Daughter on my TBR stack but hadn't realized there was a Kindle short story. And, who can go to NetGalley and just choose one book? I ended up with 6. Great mailbox!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know either of those short stories existed. I'll definitely pick them up once I read The Demon Trapper's Daughter and Born at Midnight. I wasn't a fan of Colleen Gleason's other vampire series, so I'm still undecided on whether or not to read her new series.
ReplyDeleteOhhh I had no idea there was a prequel for the Demon Trapper's Daughter, I'll have to go read that one! And the Vampire Narcise looks great, I need to start that series:)
ReplyDeleteThe Vampire Narcise looks interesting. Thanks for posting about Retro Demonology - I didn't realize that there was a short out there and I loved the book!
ReplyDeleteOur Mailbox is at BookSake.
Interesting Books this week! I really want to read the prequel to The Demon Trapper's Daughter! Guess I'll have to get on it!
ReplyDeleteThat is a really neat cover by Gleason! I'll have to look that one up.

I keep seeing The Demon Trapper's Daughter mentioned and now I want to know more about it... thanks for the post!
I didn't know about the free Jana Oliver book, so I just downloaded it! Thanks for that! Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteAwesome books! I actually got distracted with that Buffy vs. Edward video though and forgot what you got, lol. That video is hilarious, and whatever books you got I hope you enjoy. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat book week Jess! =D
