Okay, in my Disney geekdom I decided to swing by the website and try to see if when certain movies come out of that no good rotten stupid a$$ vault. Along the way found out some killer info that I had to share!
First off, there's going to be a movie in 2014, March 14, titled Maleficent! Yup, the Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty! It will star Angelina Jolie so it's live-action. This movie will basically be a prequel to the 1959 classic, we'll get to see what happened to Maleficent and why/how she became the way she was when she cursed Aurora! Soooo can't wait for that!!
There are a few titles that I couldn't click to get more info on, but I suspect they're gonna be just as freaking awesome! First off there was a movie called Monsters University releasing June 21, 2013--so I'm thinking Monsters Inc 2, for earlier that year in January, Monsters Inc is being released in the theater in 3-D!
There's also something called Oz The Great and Powerful. Not sure what that will be, besides relating to the Wizard of Oz. My guess something about him before Dorothy cam to town!
Then September 13, 2013, The Little Mermaid will release back into theaters in 3-D! That one I kinda look forward to!! The colors in that movie were just awesome! Under the Sea....!!!
I couldn't find out much more about what other movies are coming out of the vault this year and next. I know Cinderella will be out in the fall. I think around October.
Also don't forget that Beauty and the Beast, possibly Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas and Belle's Magical World, as well as Bambi and Bambi 2 are going back into that dreaded vault!
