"And then my eyes were drawn to the shadows behind her. I stared at the man's crumpled body in a daze. His limbs were sprawled in funny, permanent angles. I walked closer. I didn't want to, but I couldn't stop. I walked until I stood over him, his vacant brown eyes staring up at me.

A neat hole was blown through his forehead." p. 30*

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list  that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

This week's topic is: Top Ten Authors I've Read The Most Books From

*in no particular order
**this very well might go hand in hand with the authors I OWN the most books from too!

1. MARIA V. SNYDER--she has 13 novels out (not including short stories and novellas), from my recollection, and I've read 12 of those! One was MG and I'm not much of an MG reader.
2. JENNIFER L. ARMENTROUT--yeah I started losing count of how many books she has out! LOL! I want to say I've read 18, or soon to be 20 once I read The Return and The Dead List! And again, not including novella and short stories with this number!
3. VICTORIA LAURIE--she has about 23 books and I've read 20, as I am once again behind! By 2 books in the Psychic Eye Mysteries and 1 book in the Ghost Hunter Mysteries!

4. KELLEY ARMSTRONG--started losing count of the amount of books she's published! A LOT basically! That's including ALL the novellas and short stories she's written too! I've read 29 of her books, including the soon to come Deceptions!
5. RACHEL VINCENT--Rachel has about 17 books published and I've read 15 and hoping to get to those last 2 soon!
6. KERI ARTHUR--yet another author with too many books to count! She's had a lot of older series too before she became more known with the Riley Jensen series. I've read 25 of her books and still need to read the last Dark Angels book, but other than that, I'm pretty caught up with what I have and want to read!

7. RICHELLE MEAD--I've read nearly all her books, except I gave up on Gameboard of the Gods after finishing it. And since I've read Soundless already that makes it 31 books I've read by Richelle Mead! This includes her graphic novels too, there's 7 of those, 3 Vampire Academy and then 4 that were Dark Swan comics.
8. KIM HARRISON--I've read all her "Kim Harrison" books. I think she has 3 under Dawn Cook, but I never read those. I've read all 21 of her Kim Harrison ones! Plus a few novellas and short stories scattered throughout in the different anthologies and such!
9. CHLOE NEILL--Chloe has 15 books out as of now, and I've read them all! Plus a few novellas here and there too!

10. JEANIENE FROST--I've read 13 of her published books! Though if The Sweetest Burn releases on time this year and I have time to read it, it will be 14! ;) And naturally, I'm on pins and needles waiting for IAN'S book!!

  13. Your teaser sounds great. I like your list of authors you have read the most books by too. Since I began reading them in the 1980s and am still reading them today, Nora Roberts and Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick/Jayne Castle would be my top two for sheer number of books. My YA teaser this week comes from Fairest by Marissa Meyer. Happy reading!

I have a Keri Arthur series, just haven't had time to dig in! I would add Molly Harper, Rachel Caine, Shelly Crane, Amy Bartol, and Ednah Walters. Happy Tuesday! <3

I enjoyed reading your list! I didn't realize Maria V. Snyder has so many books out. I have her first book to read. Kelley Armstrong didn't quite make my list, but she came close. :-) I've read a few Keri Arthur books, but again, not enough to make my list.
