Want to Win a E-Book of Struck? Read On!

Hey all! Have you heard about Amanda Carlson's new series yet? I've read both of the current installments and I positively love it! It revolves around NORSE MYTHOLOGY! Which to me is whole new territory! I think in school we focused on Greek and Roman mythology the most, so my Norse Mythology knowledge is just whatever I learned from Thor! LOL! Which yeah, it's skewed because he's a superhero and all that!

Anyway, the author has offered up a digital copy of Struck to one lucky reader! Now is the time to start the series for we're only 2 books in! And as I said, it's REALLY REALLY good! I am enjoying it so much!

Here's a little bit about the book:

When Phoebe Meadows gets struck by a strange light in the stockroom of Macy’s, life as she knows it flies out the window. As if being hit by lightning isn’t bad enough, she’s accosted in the subway by a man with a missing hand, arrives home to find a raven on her kitchen counter, and her neighbor, Ingrid, shows up dressed like a gladiator hell-bent on protecting her.

Before Ingrid can shuttle her to safety, Phoebe is kidnapped and tossed into one of the Nine Worlds where she’s quickly forced to come to terms with what she is: A valkyrie. The only problem is, she has no idea what that means.

After a narrow escape, she finds an unlikely ally in Loki’s son, Fenrir. Together the valkyrie and the wolf must battle their way back to New York City and reach the valkyrie stronghold where Ingrid is waiting for her. But with danger and obstacles at every turn, she might not live long enough to learn the full truth about who and what she really is…

And if you're still not convinced, check out my review of book 1 here! Should you want to read my review of book 2 (knowing that there might be spoilers for the first one, you can read that here).

Now for the giveaway! It's sponsored by Amanda so it's her rules and it's basically open to everyone!! It will be a digital book in the format of your choice (mobi/epub) so you have to have a way to read ebooks basically! And because things have been super crazy for me, I'm just going to make this a simple giveaway, just comment on this post answering this question: What do you know about Norse Mythology? (and if the answer is "not much" or "nothing" that's totally cool because trust me, that's my answer too! LOL!)

I'll give you one bonus entry if you leave a meaningful comment on my review that I have linked above. Just leave an additional comment, or mention in your original comment that you commented on the review. And please LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS in the comment too, so I have a way of contacting you if you win!

The giveaway will run now through October 17th and the winner will be contacted by that email address sometime around then! (I say it like that because I am going out of town again that weekend and will return Sunday night, but god only knows how exhausted I will be on Monday! Lol! So you might hear from me on Tuesday or Wednesday at the absolute latest! ;) )

  1. Here's how sad I'm at Norse mythology--I didn't even know Thor was part of it. I wish schools would cover more than just Greek and Roman mythology because I thoroughly loved studying it and making up my own. I'm heading over to your review to comment there too. Thanks for the post today!
