"I saw him and he knew, he heard, he stopped dead in his prowl and cocked his head toward me with a viciousness tat caused me to jump. I squinted through the glass, unable to believe what I was seeing, and wondered if I was dying and if he had come into this hellish storm just to collect me.
While the creature stood peering at me, motionless now, his lips parted to reveal gnarled black fangs, and I could hear his whisper as if he was standing right next to me.

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.
This week's topic is: Ten Books I've Added To My To-Be-Read List Lately
*in no particular order
10. SHADES OF HONOR by Sandy Williams--couldn't pass up the steal of .99! I still need to read book 1, but now I have book 2 too!
9. A MILLION WORLDS WITHOUT YOU by Claudia Gray--I can finally read the second book now because I have the final book too!! Yay binge reading!!
8. THE HAUNTED MANSION: IMAGINEERING A DISNEY CLASSIC by Jason Surrell--I saw this on my trip at Disney World, but didn't have time to decide if I wanted to buy it then and there! And I basically decided to take it off my wishlist, use a B&N coupon plus gift card and gift it to myself! LOL!
7. MISSING by Kelley Armstrong--an ARC I acquired at NOLA StoryCon! I plan to read it pretty soon too! Just got to get to a few more review books that come out before it!
6. THE PURLOINED POODLE by Kevin Hearne--I am behind in Atticus' series, but I HAD to pick this one up since copies seem to be limited! Plus I ADORE Oberon!!
5. THE FEVER CODE by James Dashner--bought this one awhile back as well. I think I heard it's the last book of the series. It's the prequel we've been waiting for...how the Maze came to be! At least from what I heard!
4. THE WOMEN IN THE WALLS by Amy Lukavics--impulse buy! I couldn't help myself!
3. LAST SEEN LEAVING by Caleb Roehrig--another one I bought from a signing back in October!
2. THE MIDNIGHT STAR by Marie Lu--another trilogy coming to an end...another trilogy I can finally binge on its last two books!!
1. REPLICA by Lauren Oliver--another one I bought on impulse for a signing! Still need to read it but hearing good things!
That teaser is scary- hope you like the book. Like your list, been waiting for The Midnight Star so I can binge read the series as well.
