Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality.

What a week! I can happily say it was a pretty good week! The first two days were rough with working, but I was able to take the Thursday and Friday off and it was sooo nice to be able to enjoy the holiday and then the rest of the week without having to go back to that place! I was bored for the majority of Tuesday and was almost going to ask to leave early...then in the last 30 minutes I was asked to look for a piece of paperwork that I just could NOT find! It took forever and when my end time came and went I was ready to cry since I had places to go for Christmas Eve. Luckily, I was given the okay to leave even though I couldn't find this mysterious paper that was needed. I wouldn't have had issue with it had they asked me say earlier in the day instead of waiting until the last minute. Sigh...I'm realllllly hoping 2020 turns out to be better than 2019 was.

As far as books and whatnot go this week, it was actually pretty sedate. I didn't get any beyond my Fairy Loot box! Weird, huh?

Here's the last haul of the decade:

The December Fairy Loot box--though my actual box had a nasty sticker on the fairy, so here's a stand in picture from a previous box! Lol.

And as previously shared on Friday, other bookish goodies were a book love t-shirt, bookish socks, AND a gorgeous Beauty and the Beast painting with Belle and the Beast enjoying books painted by PAIGE O'HARA!! And an unpictured B&N gift card!

And that was it for me! What all did you get this week? Did you receive anything special for the holidays?

  2. It seems those little fires always get lit at the worst possible moments. At least you were work-free the rest of the week.

  6. I hate it when someone asks for something at the end of the day. We always seem to get orders just a few minutes before the cut-off for shipping that day. I am glad you were able to take some time off to enjoy the holiday! I hope 2020 brings you a dream job!

  7. That painting is so beautiful!!!

I'm sorry about the missing paper at work - that's so frustrating. I'm glad you had some days off though so you could enjoy the holidays and not go back there right away. I hope you have a fantastic 2020. :)
