Here are the rules:
1. Enter your book blog link in the Linky List below (be sure to include how long you've been blogging and what genres you review!). If you post about the Hop on your blog, please link directly to your Hop post (don't forget to answer this week's question - see below!).
2. Visit other blogs in the Linky List! Make new friends! Follow new book bloggers! Talk about books! Rave about authors! (Please do not leave your link and not visit other blogs - it's just not cool and not in the spirit of the Hop!)
3. Post about the Hop on your blog! Spread the word about the book party! The more the merrier!
4. In your blog post, answer the following question (new question each week!):
"What book are you most looking forward to seeing published in 2011? Why are you anticipating that book?"
Ooh tough one. Hmm...I guess at this point in the year, I would say I am really looking forward to Secrets and Shadows by Shannon Delany! Yes, yes I'm getting very enthusiastic about this series. And I really can't figure out why. Maybe I feel like I connect more with Jessie's character to where I saw myself at her age, instead of being a teen that is doing so many things.
In terms of debut releases, I've already read a few that were good, the next debut I can't wait to read is C.C. Hunter's Born at Midnight. It sounded pretty interesting and already read a good review on it!
And just to have something not YA, an adult book I am dying to read is This Side of the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. And do I really need to explain why? ;)

I guess it's pretty easy to say that I enjoyed English a lot. Of course it got harder as the years went by and I was reading more things that didn't really hold my interest. But I did enjoy it enough to make it my major.
I also enjoyed the few mythology courses I took! Those were fun! I love Greek mythology and learning about other myths as well. They're so closely related to fairy tales and I love fairy tales as well.
This week's question: "What is/was your fave subject in school?"

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend. English was not my favorite.
ReplyDeleteBorn at Midnight does sound good!
ReplyDeleteI bet the mythology classes you took were interesting. I think I would've really liked something like that.
I really need to read Jeaniene Frost's books! I'll have to look into Born at Midnight. And I bet your mythology courses were really interesting!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!

Totally feel you on mythology and fairy tales! Reading for classes isn't always the most fun activity, but for courses related to those two topics, it's always a blast. ^_^
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty starved for some J. Frost, myself! :-) Got to re-read the old books in preparation for the new release.
ReplyDeleteBorn at Midnight is on my list too. And oh, yeah! I can't wait for This side of the grave either! *drools*
ReplyDeleteHmm... the mythology classes sound very interesting. I wish I had some :))
