Sarah talked about how she basically wrote this after Throne of Glass, in 2009, and was waiting for her agent to come back from maternity leave so they could try selling ToG and Sarah couldn't just sit around doing nothing. Then suddenly this idea came to her when she was listening to music and the first scene just came to her. It was a remarkable story to listen to! Plus Sarah is just a riot!
She is one the sweetest authors I've ever met, though all authors have been incredible! But Sarah is pretty awesome! Loved seeing her and Susan Dennard together last year, those two are a laugh riot together! I loved hearing how they write fan fiction of their own books together. And that if someone died, they'd be living in the other author's world somewhere! Which made me happy in a sense...! LOL!
And because I was feeling...whimsy, I decided I had to buy an extra copy of A Court of Thorns and Roses to giveaway on my blog! A random contest during my time of terror as I am still trying to find a job! But I thought I could swing one more giveaway, because Sarah J. Maas people! And I truly freaking LOVED this one!
