Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality.

This was quite a week! Short week workwise but things were pretty crazy during those three days! The holiday was a much needed break! Sadly, my ankle started killing me every time I tried walking on it. So Black Friday shopping with a bum leg basically! Add to that my left foot was also injured and I guess I was trying to compensate too much on my right and caused that one too much agony. Can't figure out if it needs heat or ice to help heal it, go back and forth a bit but not sure which is needed. Hoping it goes away soon!

I was actually surprised that some of my Black Friday/Thanksgiving online purchases arrived yesterday! Mostly movies, as that's my jam for Black Friday shopping! So here's what I got this week:

The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle--I always remember watching the movie as a kid and only recently learned it was a book first! So since I had a lovely coupon for B&N this weekend, I decided to use it!

Some of my Black Friday spoils that were for myself and not gifts were:

The first round of movies: Coco, Deadpool 2, The Avengers: Infinity War, The 100 season 5, iZombie season 3, Supernatural season 13

As I was walking around Walmart ahead of the Black Friday hour I passed this shirt and immediately picked it up because 90s Nick!!

And that was my haul this week! I am pre-cringing at my credit card bill because I did quite a bit of shopping this month and only about half was Xmas shopping! Lol! The rest was book related and food! :P

What did you all get this week? Any good Black Friday deals?

  1. I never Black Friday shop, but I could appreciate a homage to great 90s NickToons. I watched all those with my daughter.

  2. We didn't have cable when I was a kid, but I loved watching when I was over at friends houses. Hope you have a great week!

  8. I bought a few things online and my daughter did talk me into hitting a couple of stores later in the day on black Friday. I just can't get excited about Christmas shopping but I bought myself a few things. I hope you feel better soon.
