5 – If you don’t have a blog to post, just leave your list in the comments =)This week's topic is: MOST ANNOYING LOVE TRIANGLES IN FICTION!
*in no particular order
I find this might be a hard one to do, and I do not mean any offense to anyone who may like these couples or what have you! These are just the triangles that kinda of annoyed me!
BARRONS-MAC-VLANE
Karen Marie Moning
I want to say that this one didn't necessarily annoy me, it was more the fact that I felt like Vlane was up to something. Just when you got that particular kind of guy hanging around so much and his attitude. He kind of gave me an off feeling. Yet throughout the series he's there for Mac. He was pretty entertaining once you got to know him!
DEREK-KYLIE-LUCAS
C.C. Hunter
All right, perhaps I'm cheating on this topic. But this is another love triangle that doesn't necessarily annoy me, but yet I feel like I can't trust Derek either. He's fae so maybe that's part of it. But I can't put my finger on it, there's just something that bothers me about him.
Going to try to find a triangle that does annoy me, honestly, I will!
JACE-FAYTHE-MARC
Rachel Vincent
Okay, I loooove this series and this is probably one of the love triangles that left me very high strung. Please don't hate me, but I wasn't a team Jace fan. So the fact that he was a contender for Faythe's heart kind of bugged me. So we can say this love triangle annoyed me, but it was more so Faythe in a way. She is definitely one of the female protagonists who I had a few arguments with, pertaining to her decisions! Yet I do love this series, so don't think that I hate it!!
JACK-ALICE-PETER
Amanda Hocking
Okay, so I've only read the first book so far and that was a long time ago, yet the love triangle that was happening here was sort of annoying. She's falling for one, yet destined to be with the other? Probably once I read the rest of the books it will make more sense!
RHYZKAHL-KARA-RYAN
Diana Rowland
This is perhaps a love triangle that confuses me. I can never tell what the other guy or demon is up to. Are they contenders for Kara's heart? Don't get me wrong, I love the series and so can't wait to read the latest one which is in my TBR mountain. But this one does annoy me I suppose because I don't know what the intentions of either male is!
Hehe! AWWWW Poor Jace. I love both Marc and Jace, it's a tough one.
ReplyDeleteI was ALWAYS Peter in MBA by Amanda Hocking, I just thought JAck was sometimes a bit young with his video games etc.
Vlane was never a contender as far as I was concerned with Mac, he was naked fun, but there was always something about him.
I am SO NERVOUS to read what happens in Alpha, I am next cab on the rank at the library so hopefully in next couple weeks I get my email saying 'come get me!'
Michelle
I always knew there was something wrong with V'lane, but can't help myself I still Love him and I wasn't a big fan of Barrons until shadowfever. :))
ReplyDeleteShift and Demon Summoner are on my To-read list.
I kinda like it and hate it at the same time when i can't figure out what the intentions of the characters
Diana Rowland's love triangle is quite literally the only one I can stand... like, even. I think she did an amazing job in making it necessary for the plot and character development. I'm usually not a big fan of LTs.
