I saw this tag at That Artsy Reader Girl and thought it looked like fun! A fun bookish Christmasy book tag, what more could you want?! Lol! I borrowed this image from Jana at her post!
“All I Want for Christmas Is You”: Favorite bookish couple
Oh tough one. Uusally, I just get into the moment of my current read and enjoy that character. But I will say that one of my favorite bookish couples is Clay and Elena from Bitten by Kelley Armstrong! Can't beat a classic!
“I’ll Be Home for Christmas”: Name a book where a character is away from home (school, vacation, etc.)
As I am trying to think of one that doesn't take place in the character's home, I quickly remembered my current read, The End of Oz by Danielle Paige! Lol! Amy is still out of Kansas, so far at least, and remains in Oz as she tries to find a way to save it!
“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”: Name your favorite “little” book (children’s book, short story, novella, etc.)
While I started running through all the novellas I've read and which one would be a favorite, I immediately started thinking of What Do You Do with an Idea? by Kobi Yamada and Illustrated by Mae Besom. It was a really cute story and pretty inspiring too! I had to have a copy once I started hearing about it and read it!
“Santa Claus is Coming to Town“: What book(s) do you hope Santa brings you this year?
Well I didn't really ask for many books this year, but I am participating in TBTBSanta again and Undead Girl Gang by Lily Anderson, Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero, and Wicked Charm by Amber Hart were three that I highlighted as ones I really wanted! So we shall have to wait and see what my Secret Santa gifts me with this year!
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”: Which book turned your nose red (made you cry)?
For whatever reason, my mind first went to Nocturne by Syrie James! It had the most heart-wrenching kind of ending! And then I recently heard that Syrie was considering a sequel but yet it's almost been 8 years already, so I am fearing the worst in that situation!
“The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”: Your favorite book/kind of book to read during the holidays
I'm not really a "seasons" reader, I basically read whatever book is upcoming in my TBR pile or what I chose from the TBR jar. So for this I just chose my next read or possibly current, as I am writing this post in advance, Forbidden by Kelley Armstrong! Any TBR read is my kind of read during the holidays!
“We Three Kings”: Your favorite trilogy
Though I still have to wait for the final book of the trilogy, I can easily say that the Caraval trilogy is one of my all time favorites! Dying to read Finale!!
“Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow”: A character you would love to be snowed in with
While I still need to read Shades of Wicked, I can easily say that Ian would be someone I wouldn't mind being snowed in with! Lol.
“Last Christmas”: A book that seriously let you down
I went into The Fade hoping for a creepy horror kind of story and while it was that in part, there just wasn't enough creepy for me. Then it took some unexpected twists that I felt were just a tad cliche. I actually just posted my review of this last week here.
“White Christmas”: An upcoming release you’re dreaming about
Since I wasn't able to snag an ARC of The Wicked King, I am sooo looking forward to reading that one, as well as Finale by Stephanie Garber, and the finale to The Arcana Chronicles, From the Grave by Kresley Cole! Dying to see how that one will end!
And that's it! If you feel like joining in on this fun little tag, consider yourself tagged!

ReplyDeleteThis is a fun tag! I need to read Legendary still, so I am glad to hear that it was a win for you! Sad about The Fade though, ugh. And I hope Santa brings you all the books you wish for!!
ReplyDeleteWow, it's been so long since I've read an Arcana Chronicles book that I almost forgot about the series. I somehow only read the first two books. I'm glad you reminded me that I have to catch up!
