This week's question is: Do you use NetGalley, Edelweiss, both, or neither? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)


MY ANSWER: Yes, I do! I use Netgalley and Edelweiss both. I tend to get better luck on Netgalley. I don't get why Edelweiss doesn't like me yet the same publisher might like me on Netgalley. This is my primary way of receiving ARCs so I am happy for both of them!

    I use Netgalley, too and it's my primary way to get ARC, too. Never tried the other one but it seems too difficult to get approved.

    I really struggle to get approved on Edelweiss too. I far prefer NetGalley.

    I find that to be true for me too. it seems like it is easier to be approved for books on NetGalley.

    Edelweiss seems to be a tough platform to get approved on.

    I, too, use both platforms. For me, the key to getting approved on Edelweiss+ is providing a strong reason for wanting to read and review the selected title. This is quite opposite for NetGalley, where some publishers seek out stats, quality of previous reviews, and feedback ratios.
