Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality.

Another meh week. Work continues to be a nightmare since we're so short staffed and now we're likely losing another two people and a third is on medical leave until mid-May and that's only a maybe that he will return. When we are so short staffed we have less people who are in the office and then a lot of stuff falls on me. Customers call complaining and wanting a manager who is not in the building, people are saying they need into the building without an appointment and I can't get a hold of my manager...it's a nightmare. Job hunting has been sparse. I apply but get no bites and every day I'm fearing that my time at this company is numbered. So that's what I'm dealing with on top of everything else. How was your week?

This week I bought:

Bloodleaf by Crystal Smith--keeper copy
The Fairest Kind of Love by Crystal Cestari

From the publisher:

Grave Destiny by Kalayna Price--finished keeper copy

THANK YOU Ace!!

From BooksforTrade:

The Kingdom by Jess Rothenberg (ARC)

THANK YOU Brooke!!

And that was it for me! 2 keeper copies and 2 new to read books, so not too bad! What did you get?

  3. I'm so sorry about how things are at work. I hope you find a new on very soon - I understand how difficult job hunting is. Every time I apply at something, I never hear anything from the company.

    Enjoy your new books!;)

  8. When I quit teaching and was looking for a job, it was a nightmare. I had to ask friends to do referrals for me. That's how I got my job. Good luck with your search!

  9. That sounds incredibly frustrating, with the work situation! I hope you find something better or that things work out. It's tough to make a change sometimes but when the opportunity comes hopefully you'll be happier and less stressed! I hate being short staffed with not enough support!

    Bloodleaf looks good!
