Well this was another bleh week. Nothing exciting. Nothing on the job front, I was turned down for my second choice one and the one I really want still hasn't contacted me one way or another and my email I sent this week has gone unanswered. I hate this waiting and not knowing. Like let me know so I can move on and keep applying for other jobs I don't really want but would still take if offered (which I am doing that anyway, but still being pickier about which ones). Sigh...like I said. A bleh week.
Here's what I got this week. From the publisher for review:
The Beyond by Chloe Neill (ARC)
THANK YOU Berkey Books!!
Sorry to hear about he job. The waiting really is frustrating. You would think with how easy technology makes it for us to communicate, they could shoot you an email or something. Now, you apply for jobs online, and never hear anything. Not even a "no thank you". It's sort of rude just leaving people hanging out in limbo like that.
ReplyDeleteI need to ask for this one as well! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteDon't know it but I hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll hear back from your first choice, and that it'll be good news, Jessica!
ReplyDeleteYAY for a Chloe Neill book in your mailbox :) I hope you'll enjoy it!
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

I saw The Beyond at work the other day, is this a new series??
ReplyDeleteThis is Amber (Du Livre) btw.
So sorry you haven't had any good news on the job front yet. I hope it still comes through for you!

I received The Beyond this week as well. I can't wait to read it! I hope something happens for you regarding a new job soon. It's really hard to find the right fit. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about the job hunt. I've been searching for a new job for awhile now and I know how annoying and frustrating it can be. Fingers crossed the first choice for you still gets back to you!

ReplyDeleteI received this book earlier in the week too! Too bad I'm not caught up yet, but I did enjoy the first book!
