Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality.

Well, it was my last week at my old building. Our less than a year old building! So Monday starts what will be the most stressful time of my life of commuting downtown. I have yet to find another job. I always get to the interview stage, they say they'll let me know one way or another and then weeks go by and I can't even remember when the first interview was! But in lighter news, this was FINALE WEEK!!!

Here's what I bought:

Finale by Stephanie Garber--the B&N edition with fan art and the exclusive chapter from Legend's point of view...1/3 copies will not contain this story from the B&N editions. i.e. I had 3 copies at one point and 1 did not have the chapter!
Romanov by Nadine Brandes--Nadine will be with Stephanie tomorrow night so I decided to give this one a try! I loved Anastasia as a kid!
Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff--the book Amazon had me running around for since it was delivered LATER than promised!

For review from the publisher I received:

The Beyond by Chloe Neill
The Burning Shadow by Jennifer L. Armentrout (ARC)

THANK YOU Berkley Books & Tor Teen!!

And of course I received this one:

My Owl Crate of Finale! I know lots of people have been sharing it already, but I'll likely wait until later this month to post the contents, much like I do with the regular Owl Crates!

And then I received some preorder swag! This was actually rather late, but thankfully Danielle was kind enough to resend it!

Stolen Time necklace and STICKERS!!!

THANK YOU Danielle!

  1. Oh some great covers and books here! Happy reading!

  2. Wait? So, if you ordered the B&N Finale, you weren't even guaranteed the exclusive chapter? That's a racket right there. I hope it was great, though.

  3. You got the burning shadow! That's so awesome! I so want to read Aurora Rising. And good luck commuting! Don't stop sending resume's. Try to send at least 10 resume's a day through Indeed and Monster. It really helps.

  7. Great books Jess! Fingers crossed that you hear back from one of your interviews soon!

  8. Hope traveling to your new building for work isn't to stressful! Enjoy your new reads!

  9. So many awesome books. I am so sad Devil's Ilse is ending.

Comments are an award all on their own! So my blog is an award free one! Thanks for any consideration though!
