I hate waiting...
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly blog post by Jill over at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights releases we're eagerly awaiting.
Alexia Tarabotti is laboring under a great many social tribulations. First, she has no soul. Second, she's a spinster whose father is both Italian and dead. Third, she was rudely attacked by a vampire, breaking all standards of social etiquette.
Where to go from there? From bad to worse apparently, for Alexia accidentally kills the vampire -- and then the appalling Lord Maccon (loud, messy, gorgeous, and werewolf) is sent by Queen Victoria to investigate. With unexpected vampires appearing and expected vampires disappearing, everyone seems to believe Alexia responsible. Can she figure out what is actually happening to London's high society? Or will her soulless ability to negate supernatural powers prove useful or just plain embarrassing? Finally, who is the real enemy, and do they have treacle tart?
So in the past year, I've really gotten in graphic novels! Mainly just ones that are spinoffs or based on my fave series, but still, it is so awesome! I love seeing animation adaptations of my fave characters! When I read I create a somewhat fuzzy image in my head and seeing a graphic version of them is so much better than an actor portrayal, because usually the actor never looks like what I had in mind! So I am definitely excited for this one! And it even releases the same day as the next novel in the series!! How cool?!

Both are new to me but sound interesting. I have never read anything Steampunk. I am honestly still confused by that genre! LOL But Magic Without Mercy sounds like my kind of thing! Great picks!

I'm not a fan of the manga or graphic novel only because I get distracted by the pictures and then forget what I've read :/ Magic Without Mercy sounds really good though. Have a great week!
