Destiny and Deception Teases!

Okay, so I'm taking my time enjoying this one! And I am looooving it so far! Have a fairly good guess as to who's on the cover, for earlier before it was released I remember Shannon saying the girl was not Jessie! 

But anyways I came across two awesome teasers that I so wanted to share! So instead of waiting til Tuesday, I figure I'll share them now! It's my blog anyway, so my rules! Rules that are hardly rules since I tend to break them! :P

"I was so bored. Part of me itched for trouble, hungered for action--for something exciting to happen in Junction once more. For my life to be more than the wrapping up of loose ends in what felt like the fourth book is some roller coaster of a paranormal novel series." p 126 

---I was laughing out loud at this one!! And just so you know in case you aren't far into the series, this is book #4!

And this one really made me laugh out loud! I'm going to set the scene a bit so I don't have a mile long teaser before it gets to the good part. We have a set of new characters--I'll explain in my review later on--that take part in narrating with Jessie and Alexi, and in this scene they're at a video store. The girl complains about how the stores always categorize movies wrong.

For instance, the movie Brotherhood of the Wolf, which is in the foreign films section, should be in the Tragedy section. Blood and Chocolate should be in the romance section--which I guess can be true since there's a strong romance scene, she doesn't say where the store has it to begin with.

Now onto the teaser...

"'The Twilight Saga?'

---although she does go on to say that Bella chose the wrong guy! So I guess that's why she despises the movies!

 

And that's all she wrote...or something like that! These were two that seriously had me LOLing! Thankfully I still have the house to myself!
