Stephanie Garber Signing & Contest!

On Saturday I was most thrilled to make the 4+ hour drive to Naperville to meet Stephanie Garber! Stephanie is already making my favorite authors list after her amazing debut Caraval!

Stephanie was really fun to listen to! I most especially enjoyed listening to her publishing story. It's really making me realize I've got to get back to working on my own book!

Joining her was author Joelle Charbonneau who acted as moderator! It was a fun little event! I hadn't realized how long it'd been since I was last at Andersons! It's got to be close to a year now! The drive is tiresome, but I always enjoy my time there! Especially with a stop to this little ice-cream place that serves raw (safe to eat) cookie dough! You can get it with ice-cream as the extreme cookie dough ice-cream but I opt for a cup of straight up cookie dough! LOL!

Stephanie was just a very fun author to listen to! I sooo excited for the next book of the series which she wasn't able to say much on but she was able to confirm what I suspected, so that was something! LOL!

All in all, a good day! And as you might notice from here, I have an extra (US) SIGNED copy of Caraval that needs a new home!

This contest unfortunately is open to only US addresses...so if you're international and have a US address that you can use and can get your book at another point or whatnot, then you're in!

  1. I haven't read it yet, still tackling other books and life too. To have a signed copy would be the best--to treasure always after I'm finished reading it. The cover alone makes it worth displaying on my shelf.

  2. This book was so much amazingness---I loved it! The audiobook version had an interview with Garber that talked about her publishing process, and I agree that it was really interesting. I was sad that I couldn't go to the Garber event at Anderson's but my kids had a swim meet that day. Glad I can live vicariously through you? Okay, so I have to know---which cover did you get?

  3. I absolutely loooved this book. Rumor has it, they may make it into a movie. That both scares and excites me. I hope they do it justice.
