This week's question is: What authors have you met and where? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

MY ANSWER: I've been very fortunate to meet a lot of authors in my time! I've met so many, it's impossible to list them all, here are a few: Jennifer L. Armentrout, Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harrison, Rachel Caine, Sandy Williams, Rachel Vincent, Charlaine Harris, Jessica Cluess, Tracy Deebs, Gail Carriger, Meg Cabot, Kevin Hearne, Kresley Cole, Gena Showalter, Jeaniene Frost, Colleen Gleason, Jennifer Rardin, Nancy Holder, Debbie Viguie, Carey Corp, Lorie Langdon, Morgan Rhodes, Colleen Houck, Claudia Gray, Susan Dennard, Sarah J. Maas, Darynda Jones, C.C. Hunter, Julie C. Dao, James Dashner, Becca Fitzpatrick, Richelle Mead, Jocelynn Drake, Jenna Black, Elly Blake, Amanda Carlson, Elle Cosimano, Delilah Dawson, Marissa Meyer, Holly Black, Marie Lu, Lia Habel, Rachel Hawkins, Alwyn Hamilton...the list keeps going!

This was just me looking at the books on my shelves and then recalling others when one ran familiar to another!

The places I've been to see all these lovely people include: my hometown of St. Louis and St. Charles, New Orleans, Charleston, Chicago, Naperville, Dallas, Houston, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Cincinnati, Boston, Savannah, Nashville, Little Rock, Kansas City, Iowa City, Tulsa, Cedar Rapids, Grand Rapids, and Milwaukee. Need to go further west though just to say I've been there for authors! LOL!

I do have all my author visits documented with where I met them as well. These are just the ones I recalled at the top of my head. I pretty much listed all the places though! There have been several repeated visits too...mostly with Naperville!

  8. I think the only author we have in common is Marie Lu. I do want to meet Meg Cabot if I ever have the chance.

  10. Gail Carriger’s books are delightful! I read ONE Charlaine Harris book, well before she became so hugely famous. In fact, the first book in the series was in m6 library’s Mystery section,
