We're nearing the halfway mark of the chapter on space in True Facts That Sound Like Bull$#*t by Shane Carley! Time to learn a little more about that little thing called space! Lol.

Did you know there are about 100 billion galaxies in the observable universe alone? Though, as I said, that's in the "observable" universe...

Did you know that astronauts can feel through their spacesuits? There are silicone fingertips on their gloves which allow them to experience some sense of touch.

Did you know that about 1/3 of the mass of the asteroid belt is made up of one object, known as Ceres? Ceres is a dwarf planet that is almost 600 miles wide and makes of 33% of the asteroid belt's mass.

Did you know that a spacesuit can cost anywhere from 2 million to 12 million dollars?


Dannnng! And they send a handful of people up at once? Dannnng! That's a lot of books there! Lol!

Did you know that Venus is the hottest planet in the galaxy? Despite Mercury being closer to the sun, Venus' atmosphere traps heat in, making it hotter than the first planet.


I feel like I remember learning this from school days. There are things you know you know, but you don't remember them until they're said. Lol.
