Books from the Backlog is a fun way to feature some of those neglected books sitting on your bookshelf unread.  If you are anything like me, you might be surprised by some of the unread books hiding in your stacks. This meme is hosted by Carole's Random Life in Books!

So I added The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shepherd to my TBR pile in April of 2015. I thought it sounded intriguing and I was hearing good things. Then I think not too long later, or a few months, I'd really have to check my photo albums in storage, it could've been a year later too, I added the rest of the trilogy to my pile as I was attending the Southern Festival of Books where Megan was attending and I thought why not get them all signed?! I have a bad habit of doing this sometimes...but then other times I don't and the books go out of print. So really, it's 50/50 that something bad will happen: either I won't like it all that much and have all the books, or I'll love it and stupidly didn't buy the books!
