Breaking the rules big time on this one! Never fear, it's just the length! This little ditty made me LOL and I had to include more for context purposes.

**another challenging topic! I guess I could've picked spooky reads for a rainy day...but then I really got into this topic! Lol.

10. A VISION IN VELVET by Juliet Blackwell--I always thought of this cover as being the calm before the storm what with the obvious wind!
9. NEARLY GONE by Elle Cosimano--another one that's up for interpretation; but I am thinking more rain drenched than sweaty! Lol.
8. GHOULS, GHOULS, GHOULS by Victoria Laurie--lightning, a storm is nigh!

7. ROAR by Cora Carmack--more storm clouds and lightning! Desperately hoping she's still writing the final book. I mean there's a cover...so it has to happen still...right?
6. LETHAL OUTLOOK by Victoria Laurie--another pre-storm feel! Cloudy, windy, a tree limb in the yard!
5. UNITE ME by Tahereh Mafi--the novella bindup that has a rainy effect going on!

4. MARKED IN FLESH by Anne Bishop--lightning and cloudy skies!
3. DANGEROUS LIES by Becca Fitzpatrick--rainy cover look! Loved the texture of this one too. I so miss Becca's books!
2. STORM AND FURY by Jennifer L. Armentrout--a TITLE and COVER pick! What with the lightning!

1. DARK DEBT by Chloe Neill--my most apt rainy cover pick! But oddly, no lightning. Lol.
