Teaser Tuesday

Here are the rules:
1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a page
3. Pick out 2 lines that are SPOILER FREE
4. Name the title, author, etc.
 
 
As you can see from my sidebar, I'm reading Rivals and Retributions that I got on loan from my best friend for life Christin at Portrait of a Book! :D Naturally I can't have just one teaser! Let alone one teaser with 2 lines!!

    Love love Shannon's werewolves and her writing. I still have to read Destiny and Deception before I can even think about getting this one. I'm sure my friend would be jealous you've got a copy of this already, though. Thanks for the teasers! I love Cat.
