Teaser & Top Ten Tuesdays

http://shouldbereading.wordpress.com/
Here are the rules:

1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a page
3. Pick out 2 lines that are SPOILER FREE
4. Name the title, author, etc.

Okay while I am not currently reading this one, I did just finish it the other day and I had marked a teaser because I thought it was too perfect! And since at the time of writing this post I am not yet starting my current read, I decided to share this one instead! If you've read the series I think this will definitely be teasing!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list  that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

This week's topic is: Top Ten Things On My Bookish Bucket List

*in no particular order

1. Read 200 books--my goal is 150, but I am hoping to maybe get up to 200
2. Meet NEW Authors--Page Morgan is going to be at RT, so that's one author I have yet to meet!
3. Read 25% of the books I already own (hopefully!)

4. Kick myself in the butt and get working on my current novel that has been giving me trouble for the past year
5. Pitch my first novel at RT to an agent
6. Self publish my first novel if the first proves to be unsuccessful

7. Read new and new to me authors (like Danielle Paige!)
8. Learn how to self publish as a backup to traditional
9. Try to host more giveaways

10. Try to get a better handle with Twitter and tweeting book reviews
