Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers here at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It's a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.
This week's topic is: Top Ten All Time Favorite Books in Paranormal Fiction (UF & Paranormal YA)
*in no particular order
Yeah, some of these will look familiar from Friday's post! ;) And naturally for a few of these I chose book 1 but I ended up loving the entire series! Clicking the titles will take you to the Goodreads pages!
Yeah, some of these will look familiar from Friday's post! ;) And naturally for a few of these I chose book 1 but I ended up loving the entire series! Clicking the titles will take you to the Goodreads pages!
1. Demon in My View by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
2. Old Magic by Marianne Curley
3. The Forbidden Game trilogy by L.J. Smith--true, it's 3 books in 1, but it is an omnibus and hence 1 book to hold!
4. The Mediator: Shadowland by Jenny Carroll--but truth, I love the whole series, just don't want to list all 6 and soon to be 7 for my picks!
5. Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
6. Bitten by Kelley Armstrong
7. The Wereling by Stephen Cole--A trilogy I totally LOVED!
8. Stray by Rachel Vincent
9. Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
10. Obsession by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Funny tease. I like it.

ReplyDeleteYeah we have very opposite taste. I haven't read any of the books on your list. I want to read more paranormal books, and I might start soonish :)
ReplyDeleteAh, The Mediator series! I absolutely loved that series when I read it. I think that was my first delve into the paranormal/YA genre. Such a cute series. I would like to read it again, but I'm afraid I won't enjoy it as much. Silly thought, isn't it? I'm afraid to read a beloved series from childhood because I'm afraid I won't enjoy it as much. Ah well!
