Comic Review--Dark Swan: Storm Born Vol 1 by Mead, Alder, & Hamann

Eugenie Markham never asked for any of this. Until now, she''s been content with her job as a freelance shaman, battling and banishing Otherworldly creatures. When a prophecy suddenly makes her the Otherworld''s most popular bachelorette, Eugenie finds herself fighting off unwanted supernatural suitors, as well as the evils that begin emerging from her past...

I finally got around to reading the Dark Swan: Storm Born comic/graphic novel! I think it's considered a comic book, not too sure! Richelle Mead and Grant Alder teamed up to do the writing and Dave Hamann and Adam Markiewicz did the illustrations!

It was amazing! I loved seeing Eugenie brought to life! Can't really recall how far into Storm Born it got into, it ends with a slight cliffhanger too. But if you've read the book you already know the outcome.

The illustrations were very nice! Eugenie looks perfect! I truly love how she looks on the cover! She just looks so kick butt! It was great fun returning to the beginning of this world. I look forward to reading more of these comics! It was convenient having the first 4 issues in this volume. Each ended with a cliffhanger naturally and the next gave a brief recap.

I am truly getting into reading graphic novels/comic books that are based on my favorite series! They are all in good fun!

Overall rating 5/5 stars
