This week's question is: When reading a mass paperback book, many people fold the cover back, as
if they were reading a magazine. Doing this will eventually create
creases in the spine. How do you feel about this common bookish habit?

MY ANSWER:
Needless to say that I think this is sacrilegious!! Like I will have legit panic attack inducing breathing when I see this! Especially if it's one of my books. I'm more likely to buy a person the book they want to borrow rather than let them read my copy*.
*Note that this is usually just when it comes to my sister! Lol!!

Ha! Thanks for the laugh. Your book love is very sweet.
ReplyDeleteFunny...thanks.
ReplyDeleteIt is upsetting. So your sister does that, huh? :)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Jessica.
Omg people do this???? I completely agree with you!
ReplyDeleteYes I can't stand to bend a cover back, unless it's an already weathered reading copy... but even then I couldn't bend it back like a magazine! That just doesn't feel right! :):)
ReplyDeleteHahaha aww. Yeah I don't do it either, but I don't care if others do. Happy reading!

I do it very rarely, and what others do with their books is their business.
