Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality.

I don't know about anyone else but this week seemed especially hard to get through. Every day was a drudgery. Nothing super exciting happened either. So blah....

Books were a little happier! I came home yesterday to see that I had another delivery attempt that required a signature. I can't be sure what this is, for some of my more recent purchases were "pre-orders." I'm anxious to get off work tomorrow so I can go pick it up...and still make it home in time for a phone/skype interview!

Here's what I did get this week:

Becoming the Dark Prince by Kerri Maniscalco--hoping to read Escaping from Houdini next month and then read this little ditty!
What She Found in the Woods by Josephine Angelini
In the Woods by Carrie Jones and Steven E. Wedel
The Eyes of Tamburah by Maria V. Snyder--Australian edition SIGNED!!

For review I received:

The King by Jennifer L. Armentrout--already read, reviewed, and adored!

Other goodies obtained this week:

More Fairy Loot Tarot cards! I had ordered these just after I made a trade for them and thought oh well? Lol. So I've a few duplicates I might be putting up for swag for trade eventually. Can't wait until I have a full set of these because they are just so gorgeous! I know I'm behind because I skipped a few boxes.

Preorder swag from Dawn Kurtagich for Teeth in the Mist!

THANK YOU Dawn!

And that's it for me this week! Really curious about whatever is waiting for me at the post office on Monday! I'd say I'll try to share the picture with you afterwards, but what with a SKYPE interview--only ever did one of these before--happening the same day, I might be too frazzled to do so. We'll see! You'll always see it Sunday for sure!

What did you all get this week?

  1. Yeah for books to look forward to. The weather definitely has me dragging, but I am looking forward to the cooler temperatures next week (yes, 80s is an improvement). Maybe it will be drier too. Good luck with the interview!

  3. Have you read The King yet? I guess I was one of the few that didn't know it's a trilogy. I can't wait for more.

    Enjoy your new books!
