Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and The Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week's topic is: Top Ten Unlikable Characters You Can't Help But Love

*in no particular order

10. AL--he was a complicated demon in the beginning. You just didn't know what to make of him.
9. V--he was a literal villain in this world of heroes and villains and their kids. But of course it's a matter of perception when it comes to figuring out who the real heroes and villains are too!
8. THE DARKLING--I mean, you can't leave him off the list!

7. LEVANA--she was a true villain for sure, terrifying! But then when her novella came out, you kind of understood her a little better. But I still totally rooted for destroying her!
6. JARETH--okay, I still need to read this one and am totally basing my opinion on David Bowie's portrayal of him, but yeah, how can you not love him?! Lol.
5. ADELINA--this was an amazing villain arc! The rise and fall and maybe rise again of Adelina! This was magic!

4. THE ODD SISTERS--dare I say, they are an odd bunch? Lol. They are definitely a weird set of sisters who seem to instigate things for all the Disney villains we grew up on. Nudging them into doing the things that they did...truly sinister.
3. JACKAL--ah yes, an old favorite! He was definitely a complicated villain that I grew to love! I had always hoped Julie would give him more of a story, it's yet to happen but she did go back and give Puck his story...so anything's possible!
2. JULIAN--a classic! He was definitely a creepy and mysterious kind of villain who definitely evolved over the trilogy.

1. JACKS--bet you all knew this one was coming! Yes, Jacks was another complicated sort! His character arc continued to befuddle me over the trilogy's end and pretty much for the whole start of OUABH trilogy too! He's surprising and dare I say, I might love him too! Lol.
