TITLE: The Iron Vow
AUTHOR: Julie Kagawa
PUBLISHER: Inkyard Press
GENRE: YA Fantasy
RELEASE DATE: May 9, 2023

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and The Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week's topic is: Top Ten Books for People Who Like Stephanie Garber

*in no particular order
**going to try my best! I honestly don't do well with these types of scenarios. It's 50/50 with me if I believe it's true when I see such things on covers of other books! Lol.

10. THE IRON KING by Julie Kagawa--it involves faeries who are like the Fates in all their twisted and devious planning!
9. OBSIDIAN by Jennifer L. Armentrout--
Katy has spunk like Tella!
8. THE FORBIDDEN GAME by L.J. Smith--
a "deadly" game that must be played and a villain named Julian who acts a little like Jacks at times!

7. BETWEEN THE LINES by Jodi Picoult & Samantha Van Leer--a story where storybook characters come to life...relating to the magic of Caraval and Fates again...except this book is sweeter and not as dark!
6. THE IMMORTAL RULES by Julie Kagawa--a likable antagonist named Jackal! A bit like Jacks, not 100% villain...at least after the first book! Lol.
5. ISLE OF NIGHT by Veronica Wolff--the proverbial "weak" girl needing to become stronger to survive, I liken this to Scarlett's transformation from damsel to heroine!

4. GRIM edited by Christine Johnson--a darker take on classic fairy tales, likened to the darker natures of the Fates.
3. ANGELFALL by Susan Ee--
a tough as nails heroine who is very much a modern Tella! Or similiar...it's been a few years and a few hundred books or so since I read this one!
2. CRESS by Marissa Meyer--
a somewhat naive heroine--since she was trapped for years--but still brave and adventurous, much like Evangeline is!

1. FALLING KINGDOMS by Morgan Rhodes--where the villain you loathed turns into the villain you love! It takes a few books here but Magnus is a bit like Jacks in that manner.
