Friday Hops

This blogger hop was created by Jennifer at Crazy for Books.

Here are the rules:
1. Enter your book blog link in the Linky List below (be sure to include how long you've been blogging and what genres you review!). If you post about the Hop on your blog, please link directly to your Hop post (don't forget to answer this week's question - see below!).
2. Visit other blogs in the Linky List! Make new friends! Follow new book bloggers! Talk about books! Rave about authors! (Please do not leave your link and not visit other blogs - it's just not cool and not in the spirit of the Hop!)
3. Post about the Hop on your blog! Spread the word about the book party! The more the merrier!
4. In your blog post, answer the following question (new question each week!):

What is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now?

MY ANSWER: Okay, this is actually tricky! I guess I'll skip some of the books that come out later this month...my pick is sort of a no brainer!

No cover description yet!

I <3 Shannon's 13 to Life series to the nth degree and I soooo can't wait to read this one! I would kill for an ARC!

This week's question is: Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).

MY ANSWER: Ohh, this is sort of a good one. Although there hasn't been a book that really influenced me much in dealing with tough situations. The book that totally grasped me and made me into a readaholic was Demon in my View by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. I mentioned it was also the book that started my paranormal addiction. It was my first vampire story and I loved it! Of course it sort of helped that the main character was named Jessica and she was a writer! But still I LOVED it and it totally drew me to the "dark side"!

  12. I'm going to have to add Demon in my View to my wish list, I've never heard of it!

I haven't read the series (from which you want the ARC) but it looks good, I hope you are able to get a copy of the ARC! I'm proof that wishes do come true, I was squeeling like a mad woman when I received Bloodlines unexpectedly! (I mean I requested it but figured it was a crapshoot! LOL)

    Have a great week, Jessica!

  22. Ms. Atwater-Rhodes has been on my TBR forever. She's kind fo a classic because was writing YA just slightly before the genre exploded all over bookstore shelves. :-)
