This blogger hop was created by Jennifer at Crazy for Books.
Here are the rules:
1. Enter your book blog link in the Linky List below (be sure to include how long you've been blogging and what genres you review!). If you post about the Hop on your blog, please link directly to your Hop post (don't forget to answer this week's question - see below!).
2. Visit other blogs in the Linky List! Make new friends! Follow new book bloggers! Talk about books! Rave about authors! (Please do not leave your link and not visit other blogs - it's just not cool and not in the spirit of the Hop!)
3. Post about the Hop on your blog! Spread the word about the book party! The more the merrier!
4. In your blog post, answer the following question (new question each week!):
MY ANSWER: Okay, this is actually tricky! I guess I'll skip some of the books that come out later this month...my pick is sort of a no brainer!
What is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now?

This week's question is: Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).
MY ANSWER: Ohh, this is sort of a good one. Although there hasn't been a book that really influenced me much in dealing with tough situations. The book that totally grasped me and made me into a readaholic was Demon in my View by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. I mentioned it was also the book that started my paranormal addiction. It was my first vampire story and I loved it! Of course it sort of helped that the main character was named Jessica and she was a writer! But still I LOVED it and it totally drew me to the "dark side"!
**And don't forget that today is the LAST day to enter my contest for a SIGNED copy of Shiver! Click here for details!

I read a couple of her books a few years back. I remember when she first was published, thinking it was amazing that she was so young, and a good author!
ReplyDeleteCome on over to my blog to see what books/authors I talked about!

Ms. Atwater-Rhodes has been on my TBR forever. She's kind fo a classic because was writing YA just slightly before the genre exploded all over bookstore shelves. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog on Friday. Your ARC books looking awesome!
