In My Mailbox

In My Mailbox is a weekly blog post hosted by Kirsti over at The Story Siren and inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie.

Not too much this week, getting harder for me to find my new releases at good prices since Borders is getting too many of them.

Here's what I bought:
Nightshade by Andrea Cremer (Yes, I have the ARC form from last year, but I looved this new cover!)
Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies: Compendium Monstrum by Suzanne Schwalb & Maragret Rubiano (Saw this on the way to the checkout and thought it was so cute! A funny little book with info on the monsters and survival!)
Bloodlands by Christine Cody
A Match Made in Hell by Terri Garey

Then as I already noted, I bought Nightshade for the paperback cover because it was so awesome, awhile back I had emailed the publisher because Andrea had mentioned that you could get the new cover flap. I emailed them back in June and hadn't heard back nor gotten anything in the mail. So guess what came in the mail right after I bought the book?

Yup! My cover flap! Oh well. Like I said, I liked this cover!

And the best thing to come this week came from the publisher for review:

(ARC) Half-Blood by Jennifer Armentrout w/SWAG!!

Thanks again, Kate!

And that was my week! What did you get?

  2. I sent an email to Penguin hoping they would sent me a flat too even though i'm Canadian. *fingers crossed*

I'm reading Bloodlands right now it's really original, the writing style is kinda hard though, so it's slow progress.

  10. Oh I read Half-Blood and loved it!
I don't care for the new covers for Nightshade and Wolfsbane but I luckily have both in ARC's of the original covers. And they are GORGEOUS but they won't match the next one so I'll probably end up buying them all with the new covers as well. Someday.

  18. I am too totally excited to read Half-Blood, unfortunately it's going to have to happen sometime towards the end of next week, so I can power through these other ARC's from HarperCollins/HarperTeen. ;)
