Mini Review--Believe Me by Tahereh Mafi

The devastatingly romantic fifth novella in the New York Times and USA Today bestselling Shatter Me series, chronicling the events after Imagine Me, the explosive sixth novel.

Juliette and Warner fought hard to take down the Reestablishment once and for all. Life in the aftermath isn’t easy, as they and their friends at the Sanctuary work with their limited resources to stabilize the world.

Warner has his sights set on more than just politics. Since he proposed to Juliette two weeks ago, he’s been eager to finally marry her, the person he loves more than anything and has endured so much to be with. But with so much chaos around them, it’s been nearly impossible for them to have a wedding. And even Juliette has been distracted by everything they need to do.

At long last, Warner and Juliette’s future together is within reach, but the world continues to try to pull them apart. Will they finally be able to be happily, officially, together?

Celebrate the tenth anniversary of Tahereh Mafi's bestselling Shatter Me series with Believe Me!

I finally picked up the ultimate finale to Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me series, Believe Me. It’s a slightly longer novella from Warner’s point of view. It picks up where things left off at the end of the series giving us concrete proof of the happiness to come!

Warner is as excited as a guy like him can get. In just a few short hours he’ll be marrying the girl of his dreams, Ella…or as everyone else knows her, Juliette.

But then after a day of complete chaos, Warner learns that the wedding has to be postponed. Then everything changes.

It was nice being back in Warner’s head again! I know we got his point of view way back with the first novella. He’s always been a complicated guy and I love knowing what he’s thinking.

Though it falls under just 200 pages the story really flys by. It involves seeing Warner going through a bit of strife in his new normal. But it’s not all blandness. Kenji is there to liven things up and omg I forgot how much how I love this guy! He’s a laugh riot and I enjoy his humor and his way to lighten the mood!

Amid some laughs and normalcy is a moment or two of pure romance between Warner and Ella. Those were sweet moments as it’s nice to see how far they’ve come as a couple.

Since this is an “after” novella you can expect an ending to truly make you smile! Honestly the  whole novella was a bit of a smile fest! I enjoyed this one last moment with this series. It was truly enjoyable!
