MY ANSWER: Not in recent years to my recollection. Back when I was younger I did, mostly on car trips that we did overnight (which was also pretty rare as we usually traveled in daylight). I did use my phone flashlight not too long ago when we were headed out to dinner on a longer trip and you know, it got dark earlier so in order to finish my chapter I used my phone light to help me! Lol.
