10. FOREST/WOODS ON COVER--usually will tell me something with werewolves, maybe fairy tales, or something spooky...for the most part!
9. HAUNT--and any of its variations because it basically means GHOSTS!
8. VAMPIRE--obviously

7. DARK COLORS--if the cover has dark colors on it, I feel like 85% of the time it has potential to be something I'd like!
6. JEANIENE FROST--be it her book or a quote of praise!
5. KIM HARRISON--this last set of picks are all the same reason as above!
