A long, long time ago, in December of 2014 bought a copy of The Queen of the Tearling and I thought it sounded intriguing! What was even better was that I soon learned it was going to be made into a movie with Emma Watson as the heroine! Now almost 10 years later I still have not read book 1, have not picked up copies of the rest of the series and never heard anything further on the movie...guessing it's canceled by now. But I still would like to give this one a try some day! It sounded intriguing enough when I first heard about it and I am still moderately intrigued by it. If overwhelmed when I look at how thick this book is!
