Time to learn an array of sports facts from Shane Carley in True Facts That Sound Like Bull$#*t! I think I would enjoy this a little bit more if the facts were organized better. Maybe by sport type? Or just some other kind of organization. It's all mixed together in a way that just seems chaotic, but I guess it works for some people. Maybe if I enjoyed the topic more it wouldn't bother me.

Did you know that Joe Namath wore pantyhose for a TV commercial? It became one of the most famous commercials of all time.

The very first volleyball was once a basketball! The inventor of volleyball took a basketball and removed the hard outer-shell of the basketball leaving behind the softer rubber. Eventually, a new ball would be created to what it is today.

Did you know the Olympic Gold medals are actually made of silver?

Apparently a baseball player can be traded for himself. It's only happened 4 times in baseball history. Baseball allows the inclusion of a "player to be named later" in trades and allows the possibility that the aforementioned player could be the original player included in the trade.

So confused by this.

Did you know that a jump ball used to follow every made basket in NBA games? They changed the rule in the 1930s to prevent the game from lasting 8 hours.
