Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and The Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week's topic is: Top Ten Favorite Books of 2023

*in no particular order

10. FLIGHT 171 by Amy Christine Parker--super creepy thriller about being trapped on a plane with a demon who wants a passenger as a new host
9. THOSE WE DROWN by Amy Goldsmith--
creepy thriller where teen is essentially trapped on a cruise where her classmates keep disappearing and no believes her
8. HOW TO SURVIVE YOUR MURDER by Danielle Valentine--
think It's a Wonderful Life, but teen goes to a "life" in which her sister was never murdered and it's not at all what she expected

7. LEGENDS AND LIARS by Morgan Rhodes--conclusion of a fantasy duology...a lot going on here and I don't want to spoil the first book either. Basically it's an exciting story filled with double crossing characters, magic, and a little bit of murder.
6. GOOD GIRLS DON'T DIE by Christina Henry--
three women find themselves in stories that are not their own and must figure out how they get back to their rightful home.
5. FOURTH WING by Rebecca Yarros--
is a pitch really needed?

4. FROM THE GRAVE by Kresley Cole--the long awaited conclusion to The Arcana Chronicles...the final battle!
3. HOUSE OF ROOTS AND RUIN by Erin A. Craig--
The Secret Garden but with a twist of horror! Annaleigh's youngest sister sets off for an adventure of her own to a manor that is dark and filled with deadly secrets and omg this ending still has me reeling!
2. CHERISH by Tracy Wolff--
the final book of the Crave series in which Grace & Co. venture to the Shadow World to save friends Grace only just remembered about.

Prepare for the shock of the year...

1. A CURSE FOR TRUE LOVE by Stephanie Garber--I mean obviously, this is #1! Lol. Two villains vying for the heart of the same girl who has no memory of who they are!
